Stacey & Kevin Share Glimpses of Daughter’s 1st Birthday
The couple Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton celebrated their daughter Minnie’s first birthday over the weekend. The TV presenter who is 36 years old and the former Strictly Come Dancing professional who is 41 years old shared a few snippets of the grand event spent with family and friends via their respective Instagram handles. Celebrating the event in style, Stacey dressed up in a leopard print blazer accompanied by the same print wide-legged trousers. On the other hand, Kevin slayed in a grey crew-necked jumper, which was matched with a pair of matching trousers and boots. The pair treated their daughter to a cute three-tier pink-themed delicious cake that read ‘Minnie is One’ on the top.
The couple, Kevin and Stacey could not stop beaming with happiness as they held Minnie in their arms while the guests invited sang Happy Birthday song for little Minnie. The interior was covered in pink, silver, and white balloons, and in one of the corners of the house was written their daughter’s name in metallic silver balloons. The guests present in this grandiose celebration were treated to a huge table of food, as well as champagne complete with pretty pink bows tied onto the glass stem. Apart from sharing a gallery of photos, she also wrote that she spent the whole weekend celebrating the birthday of their baby girl and that their daughter is turning one. Later on, Stacey uploaded a sweet snap of the couple posing in front of the silver tassel backdrop and gushed about how much she loves her partner Kevin. She wrote, “The blurriness is V V V representative of the last 12 months. WELL DONE US. LOVE U KING KEV.”
Meanwhile, Her husband Kevin shared the same photo of the couple and also rejoiced in celebrating the first year of being parents. He penned his thoughts saying that he is proud of his wife for being an amazing mum to Minnie in these past 12 months like a Superhero in the movies. This post comes after a sweet throwback photo uploaded by Stacey and how she felt emotional as she celebrated the joy of motherhood. The post was from a year ago since her daughter Minnie’s birthday. She additionally uploaded an intimate photo of herself breastfeeding her daughter who is sweetly tucked up in a blanket and is being cradled by Stacey. Stacey penned this wholesome video saying that she felt sentimental and proceeded to wish her little girl a very happy birthday.
She even took to her Instagram handle last week to express her feelings towards her little girl ahead of her milestone birthday. She penned, “MY BABY IS ONE TMRO! One?! Minnie, we are FOREVER OBSESSED with u. The love of our lives. My best best little pal. Keep shining showstopper……. LOVE U ENDLESSLY. Let’s spend your birthday running directly towards every sharp edge in every room. YOUR FAVE PARTY TRICK.”
Apart from penning down her thoughts beautifully, Stacey also uploaded a video of a self-made birthday greeting card that read, Minnie Dooley happy 1st birthday our showstopper. The couple does not disclose their daughter’s face on social media but has proudly shared an ample amount of snaps without exposing her face and these snaps show Minnie has inherited her Mother’s fiery red hair.
The couple had publicly announced they were expecting their first child in August 2022 and welcomed their little girl last January. Both the professional dancer and TV star gave a glimpse into their family life in a one-off special of Stacey’s series Stacey Sleeps Over in August 2023.
In that series, she shared about the hardships and joys of being a parent and the challenges they faced on the path of becoming parents which included raging hormones and lack of sleep.
