Huma Qureshi Fascinated by ‘Animal’, Seeks Action-packed Roles

Indian actress, model, and producer, Huma Qureshi is said to have been utterly fascinated by the 2023 controversial film, ‘Animal‘, and deemed it a very crafty flick. The widely debated movie was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starred Bollywood A-listers like Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Tripti Dimrii.
Huma Qureshi is a well-known Indian actress, model, and producer who has done most of her film portfolio in Bollywood and has received multiple awards, including the Filmfare OTT Awards, IIFAA Awards, Stardust Awards, and Zee Cine Awards. She said that “Animal” was a polarising film, which created heated debates among the audience during her book launching event. The Bollywood actress who impressed her viewers with her brief but graceful performance in the hit film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ continued to comment on how she loved the portrayal of the actor’s character, played as a machismo in the movie, which artfully fused with action and music.
Huma Qureshi made the statement that this kind of film should be made for the audience to create a debate about whether to watch the film or not. She further remarked that when a film creates an impact on the audience, then it is an indication that a good film has been produced. She expressed her desire to act in similar roles to Ranbir’s character in the film ‘Animal’, where she gets the chance to hold a machine gun like the male lead and participate in an intense action-packed scene. She emphasised that as an actor, it is incredibly exciting to be part of something so destructive.

‘Animal’ was released on the 1st of December 2023, where the story focuses on the son of a wealthy and powerful industrialist who craves love and attention from his father. After his father is shot with double bullets by an unknown assailant, Ranvijay sets out on his path of vengeance, and that leads to so many transformations in his character like an Animal. It is one of the blockbuster movies of 2023.

Huma Qureshi’s fans will be seeing her back in action as Rani Bharti in the third season of Maharani, which is being directed by Saurabh Bhave. Huma’s love for books
Huma Qureshi shared that she was one of those kids who loved to read books, and she would often read four to five books in a week. However, in her school library, since they would allow only one book for a week, she would borrow her friend’s book after completing her books. Huma’s mother would frequently nag her to do the maths homework, but she used to hid the book in between her academic textbooks and pretended to study instead. Such instances in her life illustrate Huma’s love for books since her childhood days.
