Ekta To Receive International Emmy Directorate Award
One of the most popular producers and directors of the Indian Entertainment industry, Ekta Kapoor has confirmed on her Instagram about receiving the Directorate award at the 51st International Emmy Award Ceremony. The event is scheduled to be held on November 20, 2023, in New York City. The said event is considered to be celebrating her achievements and contributions to the Indian film industry. The film producer shared the news on her Instagram feed alongside her picture where she wrote a heartfelt message in regards to the honor.
The message stated, “Overflowing with humility and exhilaration as I receive this recognition. The award holds a cherished spot in my heart, symbolizing a journey that transcends work. Representing my nation globally through this esteemed platform is an honor beyond words. Television has been my compass of self-discovery, especially as a woman crafting tales for women.”
Furthermore, she added, “This accolade empowers me to stand for them and our shared achievements on the global stage. Thank you for the 2023 International Emmy Directorate Award. #InternationalEmmyAwards @iemmys #iemmys.”

As per the report of PTI, Ekta Kapoor will be honored with this award on November 20 at an event held in New York. Bruce L. Paisner, the President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, shared an update regarding Ekta receiving the Directorate award at the 51st International Emmy Awards Ceremony.
He stated, “Ekta R. Kapoor has built Balaji into one of India’s foremost entertainment players with market leadership in the television content industry reaching mass audiences across India and South Asia with their long-running series and OTT platform. We look forward to honoring her remarkable career and influence on the television industry, with our Directorate Award.”
Ekta Kapoor has made remarkable contributions to the showbiz industry of India. She is the joint managing director and creative head of Balaji Telefilms Limited. This group was founded in the year 1994. She has produced a variety of shows, series, and soap operas through which she gained popularity & accomplishments. Some of those shows were Naagin, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kumkum Bhagya, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kkusum, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain from many other shows which topped the entertainment charts. Recently she worked with Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday with Shobha Kapoor in producing ‘Dream Girl 2.’
