Blake Lively Compliments Taylor and Beyoncé’s Friendship
Singer song-writer Blake Lively heaps compliments and praises the friendship between Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. The alum of the show ‘Gossip Girl’ took to her Instagram handle to post a bunch of pictures from Beyoncé’s recent movie premiere held in London, Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce, which is the concert film of the musician. Both Taylor Swift and Blake Lively made it to the premiere to support their fellow singer on the launch. Not only that but the caption with a powerful resonating message is what caught the eye the most. The message imparted the importance of women supporting women. With that single post, Blake empowered millions of women across the globe.
In showbiz, you can people often commenting that actresses can never be friends. Of course, it is surprising to witness two globally influential pop stars, on top of that both are female celebrities, giving out each other shout-outs to each other without sparing a glance about the competition. This is what Blake Lively states in that message of hers. She says that supporting each other should be the norm and never an exception. She expresses the pure bond of friendship between her and Taylor & Beyonce.
The post contained a carousel of pictures of Blake with Beyonce and Taylor Swift along with the mentioned detailed text on empowering the younger generation. She talked about the ever-existing stereotype around female rivalry and how women are pitted against each other. She further quoted how it is the current people’s responsibility to display the power in aligning rather than dividing. You can read the whole message on this Instagram post of Blake Lively’s below.
Simultaneously, Taylor shared a bunch of pictures with Beyonce and Blake Lively on her Instagram account. She even captioned the post beautifully.
Even after all these years, the two global icons have nothing but support and love for each other. Earlier in October, Beyonce had attended the London premiere of the Eras Tour Concert film that spoke volumes of Taylor’s appreciation toward Beyonce.
Taylor expressed her admiration, respect, and gratitude by saying: “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce’s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”
The friendship between Beyonce and Swift goes all the way back to 2009 when Taylor’s speech for the Best Female Video for “You Belong with Me” was interrupted when someone in the crowd suddenly declared that Beyonce’s “Single Ladies(Put a Ring on It)” is the best one of all times. This incident brought both ladies down to tears. But later when Beyonce won the Best Video of the Year award, she called Taylor Swift on stage to complete her interrupted speech.
There is a deeper lesson to be learned other than how to sell out a concert from Taylor and Beyonce and that is, that a win by a woman is a win for every other woman out there.
