Anushka Sharma Reacts to Virat’s Century Against Pakistan
Virat Kohli, the star batter of the Indian Cricket team has delivered a special performance as he banged the match with his 47th ODI century paving a massive way towards the victory for the Indian team. The team beat Pakistan during the Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2023 on September 11, Monday. Kohli scored a total of 122 runs in just 92 balls by maintaining the partnership with KL Rahul and this unwavering partnership scored a total of 356 runs for the loss of two wickets.
Anushka Sharma, wife of cricketer Kohli and the famous Bollywood actress praised her husband’s and former Indian captain’s performance by posting a special phrase on her Instagram story with a picture of Kohli scoring 100 runs. She captioned the post with “Super knock super guy!!” Including a clap and a heart emojis beside the caption. She posted this iconic snap with an equally iconic message to King Kohli just after a few moments of Virat slamming a century in the Asia Cup’s India v/s Pakistan match.
Along with this, Anushka even congratulated KL Rahul for securing a century during the highly anticipated match of Asia Cup 2023. She shared a post from the ICC which had a picture of KL Rahul scoring 100 during the match. She added the caption as a congratulatory message tagging the cricketer.
Furthermore, the Indian actress and wife of KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty took to her Instagram to share a post with a sweet note for her husband. The duo (Virat Kohli and KL Rahul) with their superior performance and unstoppable century fuelled India to score a total of 356/2 against their arch-rivals Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 collision at R.Premadasa Stadium on September 11, Monday. With this, the duo set the highest record in the history of the Asia Cup for partnership with a total of 233 runs.
