Actor Darren Criss and Wife Mia are Expecting Their Second Baby
The American Crime Story alum, Darren Criss, will be a dad for the second time. The 36-year-old Glee alum and his wife Mia Swier announced they were expecting their second baby together. The singer and actor took to his Instagram account to announce the wonderful news to his fans and followers. Darren Criss shared an edited photo of his face, his wife’s face, and their daughter Bluesy Belle’s face who is currently 20 months old, on top of the faces of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again promotional movie poster. In the picture, the husband’s photo was planted on top of Meryl Streep’s photo as he was sticking his tongue out in the pic. His wife was grinning as her face was planted on top of Amanda Seyfried’s body and their daughter’s face was planted on top of Lily James’ head. Posting an edited version of the movie poster on Instagram, the singer included two positive pregnancy tests confirming the good news.
The pair welcomed their first child together in April 2022 after they announced pregnancy by the couple in October 2021. Darren had captioned one of his Instagram posts “We’ve been making music for years. But this time we made a BEAT. The ultimate collab droppin’ Spring 2022.” Darren Criss shared a pic of the couple welcoming their daughter Bluesy in the hospital. He even captioned the same saying that the couple had created a beautiful music named Bluesy Belle Criss along with her birth date 4/11/22 beside it.
Recently, the singer and “Christmas Dance” musician shared a joyful family post on his Instagram celebrating his second Father’s Day. In the pic, he held his daughter, Bleusy’s hand while gazing at New York City. On the same day, he shared a video wearing a baseball cap that read ‘Girl Dad’ all the while his little girl was saying ‘Dada’ repeatedly in the background.
Criss captioned the post with a simple message. Darren Criss and Mia Swier tied the knot back in 2019 on February 16. They chanted their vows in front of their family and friends in New Orleans. In the interview with PEOPLE magazine, Darren expressed how their marriage was one of the most beautiful events of his entire life in April 2020. He said his marriage with Mia was the most magical experience in his life and that weddings are amazing despite what people say about the construct of marriage or tradition. Darren Everett Criss is the youngest child of Cerina and Charles William Criss. He was born in San Francisco on February 5, 1987. Some of the popular works of Darren Criss include the character of the boy played in the musical ‘A Very Potter,’ and Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story for which he received an Emmy and Golden Globe Award. Apart from this, he appeared on Broadway and in film and released several musical albums.
