Katrina Stuns in Golden Saree As She Leaves For Ayodhya
Ayodhya is set for the Pran Prathistha ceremony. Film industry celebrities and other famous personalities have arrived at Mumbai’s Kalina airport to set off for the big event. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were among others who were invited to the Pran Pratistha ceremony. The couple alongside many others opted for traditional attires and also shortly interacted with the media before heading towards their flight. Katrina Kaif looked luxurious and elegant draped in a gold-colored saree. To complete the look, she opted for minimal gold jewelry and left her hair untied. On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal dressed in a beige-colored sherwani and had his hair tucked into a man bun. The couple held hands and posed for photos after getting their vehicle and heading towards the private airport.
Meanwhile, the Alia-Ranbir couple were also spotted heading towards the airport. Alia opted for a teal-colored saree paired with a shawl. She tied up her long tresses into a neat bun and wore minimal accessories. Her husband, Ranbir Kapoor wore a white kurta paired with a matching dhoti and a beige shawl. The pair briefly posed for the cameras and then headed inside the airport terminal. Rohit Shetty also joined them for pictures.
The Pran Pratishtha ritual of Ram Lalla will be initiated in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, saints, and a panel of other distinguished guests. Apart from these, other famous personalities from the film industry have also received the invitation.
Previously, South Indian actor Rajinikanth along with his son-in-law Dhanush were spotted reaching Ayodhya. In addition to them, Kangana Ranaut, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anupam Kher, Shefali Shah, Anu Malik, Ayushmann Khurana, Lata Mangeshkar’s nephew Adinath Mangeshkar, Sonu Nigam, Manosh Joshi, Ravi Kishan, Randeep Hooda, and Vivek Oberoi are also going to be a part of this great event.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will start with a dazzling musical event titled Mangal Dhwani according to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The musical event will showcase performances by some of the famous personalities in the world of music. The soiree will take place at 10 am. The Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Temple will be held at 12:30 pm.
Ram Lalla’s idol has been placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in Ayodhya. The Lord Ram’s idol is sculpted and carved by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj. The idol weighs approximately 1.5 tons and is 51 inches tall. The idol portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on Lotus, which is also made from the same stone that was used to carve the idol. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform rituals to mark the Pran Pratishtha. A team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit will lead the main rituals today.
